Shalon holds an M.A. in Pastoral Counseling and a B.A. in English. She draws on her unique life experiences, specialized education, and targeted training to help others identify their next steps toward personal and professional growth. Guided by a faith-informed, culturally humble perspective, she meets people where they are without imposing beliefs. Shalon prioritizes building rapport and honoring each client’s worldview, upholding the coaching relationship with the utmost care and respect.
Navigating through many challenges of her own throughout life like chronic disease, single parenting, and abuse, Shalon has developed keen insight into life crises and transitions. Such experiences along with training in trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, assessment, intervention, and recovery, grief and loss, and many women’s issues–like self-image and identity, menopause, and relationships–has equipped Shalon to help life coaching clients in the following ways:​
